Cick here to download the procedure

Why can't we access online databases off campus

When a library negotiates and signs a license with a vendor for a product(s), it provides IP addresses that represent the parent organization’s network. When an unauthorized users attempts to access such resource(s) as EBSCO Host Databases, the vendor's system checks the user's IP address. If the address falls within the range of addresses associated with one of their customer libraries, access is allowed. This arrangement restricts resource access within the organization's network ONLY. This one of the many security control measures for electronic resources.
